Txi's auric filaments are almost always manifested even if no other of his extras are. they're part of his identity and self-expression - the tendrils are the same colour as his eyes and markings and shine the same way both his eyes and markings do, with a gentle glow. his filaments do drop some sparkles when they move, little motes that fade away quickly, but that leave a trail of light in his immediate wake as he jumps from branch to branch or hurries over the forest floor.
the filaments don't have an effect on others, but they do have an unspoken effect on Txi himself: one that shows him that he is in control, has access to his abilities, and that there's nothing for him to worry about as a result. though Txi still has difficulty admitting to others that he's sometimes afraid, you'd know it immediately if this part of him were to disappear alongside his flowers - a crucial part missing, a part of his ability and identity he no longer has.
on the flipside, this does also mean that he sometimes allows the glow of his filaments to fade when he's feeling particularly safe and subdued. it's a work in progress, and typically a sign of vulnerability that only Darkling is privy to.
